Russian-German Joint Venture Autobahn Ltd mastered and successfully implemented the innovative technology on arrangement of protective layer based on "Novachip" technology.

"Novachip" technology involves laying of ultrathin layer - 2,5 cm of bitumen-mineral mix (stone mastic asphalt) with modified bitumen over previously laid membrane of polymer-bitumen cationic emulsion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Autobahn" possesses specialized machinery, enabling to lay a thin layer of bitumen-mineral mix with modified bitumen over previously laid emulsion, using paver "VOGELE SUPER 1800-2 Spray Jet", equipped with an emulsion spraying device. Such equipment allows performing the entire package of works on spraying of bitumen emulsion and laying of asphalt mix during one operating cycle, for one pass of the paver.
